Everyone:
Nelson, KU0A authored this very useful approach to working with Logbook
of the World (LoTW) tailored for use with DX 4 WINdows (which many of us
use). Enjoy!

*LOTW for Dummies*

   1. Open DX4WIN (or whatever your logging program happens to be)
   2. Select Import/Export from the File menu
   3. Select the ADIF option
   4. Select Export from the File menu
   5. Give your export file a name, e.g. call (date) and click save to
My Documents (you have saved your entire log as an ADIF file)
   6. Select Exit from the file menu.
   7. Close DX4WIN
   8. Open TQSL (you do have TQSL and a current certificate?)
   9. Select Sign Existing ADIF from the File menu
  10. Verify your call-station and select OK
  11. Select the ADIF you just created and click Yes
  12. Select the date range for QSOs to be uploaded (use format prompts)
  13. Click OK
  14. Your TQ8 file is ready to upload.
  15. Log onto LOTW
  16. Select the Upload File tab
  17. Browse to My Documents to find your TQ8 file and click Upload (you
will see a message “queued for processing”

  20. You will see the results of the upload and any QSO matches.
  21. Log out of LOTW
  22. Congratulations, you have uploaded your log.
