Hello all
I disagree, the two NTS Chair's ( I say two because the third Chair was only
a fill
in and did not want to get involed ) along with the three NTS Digital
Coordinators
tried to make the ECAC committee understand how the system worked. But some
members of the committee had their own idea's and would not listen to what
was
being said. Al W3YVQ and the members attend the coferances and tried to
to explain in detail how things worked but members had their own idea's.
Along with that every time I tried to show or talk about the NTS workings on
the
conferances, I was told I was either wrong, didn't know what I was talking
about or sort of laughed at becasue I always had comment in the other
direction
from what members thought.....A number of times I made the statement that
no matter what I said members were going to do what the wanted to or thought
and thus washed my hands of it, thus I stated do what ever you want because
your
going to do it anyway and thus I gave up ......One other point, the two Area
NTS Chair's and Area Digital Coordinators was told that they would have a
chance
to review the poles/questions/survey's that were put out about the NTS, this
did not
happen thus the poles were flawed and made no sence. Which brings up another
point, members would refer back to the survey's stating what the survey's
had said
as if they were gospel but knowing they were flawed and this was even
admitted in
the ECAC finial report.
Now I'm sure after reading the above some of you will be hopping up and down
but the fact is I don't care, if you can;t stand the truth then I'm sorry
for you.
If you really what to get something acomplished both for ARES and the NTS
then I suggust very strongly incorporate the now three NTS Area Chair's and
the two other NTSD Area Digital Coodinators into your conversation along
with
Al W3YVQ. But if you don't then I can only believe you are mad the BOD
didn't except what you put forth and are going to push for your own agenda
which per the BOD was flawed and you do not care about the amateurs in
either
ARES or NTS .
