I am using the Patch (and I don't even smoke) and tried your 
symptoms and can not duplicate.

A suggestion for all reporting anomalies:
Please give a simple report of your setup, might be a clue in there.


My setup.
AMD Athlon XP3000 on Win XPPRO sp1
broadband via home lan
512 MB of ram.
Dual Monitors
Yaesu FT1000MP
Full DXBase control of rig, cw, ptt, rotor
running DXBase 2004 v1.03
