I think so.
Seems I got an email from someone that if you split the cable and connect the proper
control line.
You can then do rig and cw on same port.
I haven't tried, I figured that it was more trouble than it was worth and could possibly
be a headache in the making.
As adding comports to a desktop is so easy and cheap it was a quicker fix.
Now a laptop...now that could be a challenge these days.

I presently have 2 motherboard comports, two comports on a SIIG PCI card and one Belkin
USB -> Serial com port.
I have rig control, cw/ptt/fsk, rotor control
Com 1 is rotor
Com 2 is rig
Com 5 is CW/PTT/FSK
Com 6 is TNC
Com 7 is unused as yet
