[Dx4win] Date Range Filter and Export to LOTW issues

Hi Calvin,

I'm seeing something similar, though I don't think it has to do with the
specific date range. In my case, it switches band to 160m and mode to CW,
but it does pull up the QSOs that were made during that period. I don't know
if this is something new and it's possible it's been there all along.

What's interesting is that I did a query after specifically setting band and
mode (in my case to 20m and SSB) and then setting the date range, and it
correctly pulled up only QSOs on 20m SSB. If I press Shift-F8, which brings
up the last filter settings, it correctly shows the previous filters,
despite it changing to 160m/CW after entering the date.

So even though the filter seems incorrect, it's doing the right thing, and
what I am seeing seems like a cosmetic issue. However, it seems that in your
case it is not pulling up your QSOs. (Just to confirm, I assume you do have
QSOs made during that date
range).

I'd be willing to test your log on my computer if you'd like. Contact me
off-list and we can sort out how I can get it if you want to try that.

Regarding user level, I believe that was removed at some point (probably
version 9).

73,

David, K2DBK

Subject: [Dx4win] Date Range Filter and Export to LOTW issues

DX4WIN 9.0.9.1259
A date range / lotw export problem just popped up.  Date range worked fine
through my 04/15/2026 date range filter of 04/01/2016 to 04/15/2026.  Now
when I run the 04/16/2026 to 04/30/2026 date range filter, the filter
inserts "80" in the band and "cw" in the mode.  None of my recorded QSOs are
"80" or "cw" so it seems the search filter is pulling  this data from
somewhere.  When I try to export this filtered subset to lotw, I get  Zero
records.  This is the only time this has happened in over a decade.  Please
help.

Also, how do I change my user level?  I go to File / Preferences / Personal
and I do not see where I can see my current user level selection or how to
select a different choice.

Thanks
N9KO
Calvin
