[DX] Yet another eQSL acceptance story!

I'm not sure there is a direct comparison between the 3905 awards and the DXCC award, other than the simple fact that they both require QSL cards for award issuance. I'm almost certain that the 3905 awards do not have the scrutiny that the DXCC program does. I used to spend a lot of time on 3905 in my early years, and I don't recall substantial challenges about whether a person was in the state, state capitol, or whether their initials REALLY matched their call.....as I recall their awards program. Show me a debate of an operation on 3905 that has endured the scrutiny of such operations as BS7H, etc......

I certainly hope DXCC finds it's way to eQSL in some form, given the discussion in my prior email in perspective. But I certainly hope, expect, and frankly believe, based on my experience, that it will be done ONLY when the 'e' method meets the same level of care that the current method does.

I know someone can knock off a 'printed card' as well....but I also know the ARRL has a very keen eye which effectively preserves the DXCC program, and has given it the stature it holds in the DX community.
