Mike,
I do know how much work being a QSL manager is. I know the costs involved. I do not get paid for any of my services. I just have a different idea of what is fair than some others do. That is alright also, we live in America where it is alright to have different opinions.
Happy New Year.

Im in the same boat as Steve is, and I could not have said it any
better
Some people have no clue how hard the job of a QSL Manager is ( the recent
ones will remain nameless)

  Rex,

operation.   I don't try to make money, and in fact I lose a bunch
every year.  It's just part of the business.   I sell my IRCS
to help with the QSL expenses.   I help some of my stations with
organizing equipment to make their stations even more functional, new bands,
new modes, etc.   I also donate a large part of it to a foundation
that support the bigger DXpeditions.   I end up getting about $1.10
or so per IRC.     And while I rarely operate due to business
commitments, I know that folks benefit from what I do.

me, I sleep very well at night.   This is my last post on this
subject.   If folks need IRCS, they know I have them, and they know
  my price.
