[Dx-qsl] OK to send QSL's to Europe in August

Well, from my own and my wife's personal experiences, it *is* somewhat fair
to say that a good percentage of Paris re-locates to the south of France
(and elsewhere) for much of August - or at least they did a few years ago.
It's far quieter in the city in August than at other times of the year. If
you're lucky, you can actually get a seat on the Métro! But, yeah, I'm still
chuckling at the original question, too!

I've heard that Europe shuts down for holiday in August. Do Europeans
typically receive their mail in August, or have they gone to a resort
somewhere?

Thanks,

Tim K6GEP

Ignorance prevails ?

Europe is not one country !! Each as it's own traditions and regulations.

Besides no country shuts down !!
