Hi Bob,
Indeed strange.
I'll try it again carefully in the next days to see if I can
figure out anything that may be happening.
The DSP continues to send data, it is indeed the PC that
crashes badly.
---
I'm sorry I can't use your hex file as I have changes on the
DSP code myself but I'm quite convinced that it is working
fine since the same dsp code v33 works with the
old console v2.02.
I did not check if you changed anything important going
from 21 to 32 on the DSP-PC protocol but apparently the
main protocol remained the same as it works perfect with the old 2.02
console.
(I would not be surprised if it didn't I would even find it
logical if it failed for some reason, but it does work
so I'm quite convinced by that evidence that is the
PC program that fails for some reason.)
---
No error message no nothing, just a total PC crash.
It looks so strange that I fear
there is a chance that all may be fine and I just got a
corrupted code somehow, so later this week
I'll start from the beginning, I'll
download again and copy to that PC and test, then I'll
let you know.
---
Downloading of pointers works fine.
It all does work fine for some time, if I only tune up
and down it does work and do not crash. Only some
functions make it crash badly (not sure which... but F1
is a 100% hit, crashes always) .
Anyway, might not be so important for what I
would like to test, since I'll be trying my luck
to see if I manage to do a console on C#
long long term project though... not sure if I'll get the time
for all that learning since I'm no C# programmer
only did (lots of) plain old C until now
C# way is quite of shock for me ;-)
So DSP10 is an excuse for learning...
Luis Cupido.

PS. my ver33 is the same ver33 as by Roger's
with my modifications (that I did carefully ;-)
