[DSP-10] Udiag2 Values for Diagnostics

Greetings DSP-10 Group:

My DSP-10 appears to be up and running, wth the exception of a few
additional tests I want to run before buttoning it up. Serial Latches
are latching, PLL's are locking, and I can hear my local SSB / CW
signals (rx and tx) in the shack, etc. I'm reading the archives from
the past 12 months this evening to study more on getting the internal 10
MHz system to pull down to frequency, etc. (I'm about 5 KHz too high
currently). In addition, I'm hoping to get the VCO centered a little
bit more such that I can see PLL lock across the entire band.

On that note, I'd like to modify UDIAG2.DSP to set the LO Synthesizer
for values other than 126 MHz. For 126 MHz, Bob has a value of 0,
0x8FA1 , then 1, 0x8960 going to U104. Has anyone studied the PLL in
enough depth to determine the formula for setting other frequencies,
such as 127 MHz, 128 MHz, etc. ? (This is a perfect test bed for
verifying the PLL will lock across the entire band).

Curious / 72,

    Roger Hayward
