I am still about as green as it comes, but I am beginning to understand just
a little of what I am reading on this subject.

I am going to get the EZ-Lite running with the DSP-10 hardware config as 0.
I have not been able to locate the .cfg file to make the change from
hardware 1 to 0 but still looking. I looked for a file that started out as
UHF and end with .cfg ???? Maybe the .cfg is generated after I load the
program ? Anyhow I could not find it in the unzip ver 2.02. I was able to
locate a copy of Borland V 4.0 software on e-bay.
Now I am at the dangerous stage, SO........

It appears that the input mic stages on the EZ-LITE are by-passed and not
used by the DSP-10 circuit ??

I am also assuming that when hardware is config as 0 that the EZ-LITE does
not look for the SER EN1 or SER EN2, PTT, HDW RDY or PLL LOCK from the
DSP-10 board ? J101/P101 not required for just audio operation ? And we
do not need to tie anything high or low on this connector. ? Jury is
still out on this.

I do understand the power and RS-232 connections. HI and I am putting the
EZ-LITE board inside a nice shield box.

Any suggestions on the first time to bring up a EZ-LITE running DSP-10
software without the DSP-10 hardware board appreciated.
