[Drake] microphones

Gee, seems like a loooong time since I've heard anything here...

I have several Drakes and being mostly a SSB operator, a while back I 
searched high and low for a good quality desk mic to use with the 
transceivers. I found a pretty nice Drake 7075 mic. I probably paid too 
much, but I didn't know any better.
Just recently, I have 'discovered' these mics were made by Turner. I 
have purchased several mics on ePay, er eBay, that are identical to the 
7075 except they have different brand labels on them. Lafayette and 
Midland come to mind. There are a LOT of these 7075 'clones' out there 
for cheap!!
