Boot is a 2-1/2" rubber plumbing fitting. Wood pieces mate the key to the boot and correct the angle so key is nearly level. While sitting in the drivers seat my elbow rests on the center console and hand is in the proper position for keying.
(Formula for boot size is - measure around the widest part of the shifter and divide by 3.14. Mine equaled 2.5 inches which is the inside diameter of the plumbing boot, a standard size.)
PDF file shows the 2011 mobile installation, prior to todays CW key.
Everything works, but have not tried to contact anyone on CW yet.  Soon.
