Hey Larry, why just once a year? How about the one I started called Flight Of The Killer Bees? I just looked at the radar map and heavy storms just moved into south west part of PA. Their calling for a lot of storms tomorrow and all sun spots are doing nothing. Bob. AF2Q

Ron,
Yes, you surmise correctly. The Flight of the Bumblebees is a QRP Sprint
- with a twist. It is sponsored by the Adventure Radio Society and
occurs each year on the last Sunday of July.
The idea is to operate outdoors at a location that you can walk, hike,
kayak, bike, canoe, etc, etc, to get to. Work as many other Bees and
non-Bees as you can in the allotted time.
The primary goal? To have fun in the great outdoors!
If you go to the FOBB site:
http://adventure-radio.org/wiki/index.php?title=Flight_of_the_Bumblebees
and then click the caption underneath the photos, you'll get the
accounts of that Bee's day in the field.

I took the liberty of assigning you Bee # 204 - it's your whether you
decide to use it or not. Please think about it, though - it is a ton of
fun! While it is one of the better known QRP outdoor events; we
welcome anyone to operate and join in on the fun - even from the indoors!
