Now, Joe, Wouldn't some of you ex- Air to Ground operators like to recreate
some communications recordings for me?
I have recordings of the New York Times PX room in DC, recordings of the
"Queen Mary", ship-to-shore recordings, but ABSOLUTELY no recordings of an
aircraft, nor of a any ground to air communications involving CW. I've even
got a recording of SUH from Egypt sending on a bug.
Sure would be nice to have even if it was a recreation of what used to be.
The problem is that the recordings probably would need several people to do
it becuase of the different fists requirement. But I would guess that a
talented AF CW man could send poorly or imitate one of those Pakistani
radiotelegraphists.
Pakistani operators always had a very distinctive and extremely difficult to
copy fist.
