Dear Mr. Smith: Remember it is an illusion of moving the darkness or light.
The only thing that actually gets moved is the clock. This tricks our brain
into thinking that we now "have more light in the evening". -73- Sherrill W.

The comparison of darkness shifting to the shifting of electrons and holes
was quite a hit in our science department. I would not be surprised if this
did not appear in an academic paper, or maybe a semi academic paper.

Who's developed that analogy? We certainy would want to give approriate
credit.

"You see, wire telegraph is kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail
in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this?
And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive
them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."
