well John:
maybe 10 is a little dead but that has been the norm for as long as i can
remember and that is a number of years. high sunspots everyone goes to 10
low sunspots 99% go down in freq.. cw bands not busy guess i hear more
here in Ky. then i thought. Well i have no problems is they want to give a
no code lis. but at least give then a test that has theory on it not
the 3rd grade stuff they do now.. we need hams with knowledge not a bunch
of guys who know how to turn it on turn it up and spin the dial.. we have
more hams that use CB jargon on the bands now then we need. I AM A HAM not
an echo linker or a what's your 20 the personnel here is . come on.
yes lets get more hams. BUT at least get some knowledgeable ones also..
do i do my part. been an OO and VEC for years.. been an Elmer for 30+ i
have spent months in a class room after work two nights a week teaching
theory to men and woman who wanted to learn and get their ticket.. NO I DO
NOT Teach the questions and never will..
