Does anyone know how or when manual keys came to be called "straight" keys, and why is that that most of them are actually bent? None of the modern Webster's definitions of "straight" as an adjective seem to fit with key. Could it be just one more English word that has completely changed meaning over time? 73, Mike, AC5P
