Kerry passed away at home, after fighting cancer for 14 years. She 
decided on home hospice after being diagnosed with lung cancer in late 
June. Our daughters were here with me at the end, and Kerry passed 
quietly after a brief and sudden decline.

Kerry requested no funeral, no viewings, and that she be cremated. We 
are arranging to spread her ashes at sea, off the coast of 
Carmel-by-the-Sea near Monterey. It was her single favorite spot on earth.
