...Wind Advisory in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening...
The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory...
which is in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening.
South to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph...with gusts up to 55
mph...will continue over the region through 8 PM this evening.
Local gusts above 60 mph may occur in wind prone areas along
Highway 395...and along Highway 95 near Walker Lake. Some reduced
visibility due to blowing dust may occur especially in Mineral
County.
A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 45 mph or greater are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially
for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
