...Heavy Snow Warning in effect from 4 PM Thursday to noon PST
Friday...

...Snow Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to 8 am PST
Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Reno NV has issued a Heavy Snow
Warning and a Snow Advisory.

Snow and rain will continue to move across the Reno...Carson City
area tonight.  Local accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are possible
through 8 am Thursday morning.

Heavy snow is expected to move into the area by 4 PM Thursday
afternoon and continue through Friday morning. On Thursday snow
levels will be near 5000 feet...and lower to valley floors by
Thursday night.  By Friday morning total accumulations of 10 to 18
inches are expected above 5000 feet...with 5 to 10 inches of snow on
valley floors.

Periods of snow are expected through the New Years Day weekend.
