...Winter Storm Watch in effect from Wednesday afternoon to late
Thursday night...

Strong winds will develop over the area late Wednesday ahead of an
approaching winter storm. By Thursday morning snowfall will increase
and become locally heavy at times especially along the foothills. The
heaviest snowfall should diminish late Thursday night with snow
showers expected to continue through the New Years Day weekend.
