[CVRC] Dinner with Bob Evans

Hello to all,

Bob Evans, N6YMA, had a kidney removed about two weeks ago and the Pathology
reports found no spread to the regional lymph nodes.  There was no evidence
that the tumor had spread beyond the tissue that was removed.

A few days ago Bob told me that he was walking 2 miles a day, and was going
to try to increase that to 2-1/2 miles the next day.  He expects to go camping
at Highland Lakes and then stop by in Gardnerville to visit with friends, and
have dinner on Sunday, 8/15/04, at 5:30 PM, with as many of you as can come to
the Pizza Factory in Minden.  The restaurant's location is just south of the
theater in the Ironwood Shopping Center, approximately opposite the Minden
Medical Center at the north end of Minden.  In addition to Pizzas, they have
soup, breads, salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and a variety of beverages.

The owner of the Pizza Factory will set aside as many seats as we need.  As
of tonight, 13 people have said they plan to come, of the 15 places we asked
the manager to set aside.  We'll almost certainly need to ask for more seats.
