Update:
It looks like Southwestern Connecticut has caught a break.
Monday morning has arrived and there’s a bit of light snow reported in Greenwich, but not much else.
The National Weather Service has canceled its winter weather advisory for Parts of New York and Long Island.
Forecasts fromWeather.com show no more than a 20 percent chance of snowfall Monday in Southwestern Connecticut.

What was once billed as a potentially significant snow event now looks like it won’t be much of anything at all.
WTNH meteorologist Sam Kantrow is predicting 1-2 inches of snowfall Sunday night into Monday morning along the Connecticut coast. Inland parts of Connecticut may only see a coating up to 1 inch of snow. What changed? The storm in moving south, Kantrow says.
The latest forecasts from theConnecticut Weather Centerand Weather.com are now calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow.
On Friday, the city of Bridgeport declared a snow emergency for 6 p.m. Sunday. As of 2 p.m. Sunday, the emergency was still in effect, according to the city’s website.
New York City, Long Island and New Jersey could still see 3 to 6 inches of snow, however, according to theNational Weather Service.
