> Hi Jon: I was thinking that the only what some people could reach our repeater during this storm and after would be echolink. We could also find out conditions in other areas. I do have a generator but it is very large. It would make more sense to borrow one of these small generators. I could put on my porch. I only need to plug four wires into a power strip. That March storm 2 years ago we lost power for 4 or 5 days but never lost phone service. We could possibly use the 440 repeater and make sure it is monitored.

I talked to Jon, WB2RYV & Jon, W3IEC our repeater Trustee this morning. They both agree this is a great idea.

If you have a small generator I could borrow please contact me.

Emergency SARA club station could be activated at the Stamford Government Center. Jon, WB2RYV is going to the Government Center this morning and will be testing our SARA Emergency station.
