Hi All, further to our dstar intro at the end of last month, a youtube video
has just been released with some interesting
footage taken at the Dayton hamvention  2010.
The first speaker Robin Cutshaw AA4RC gives a great description of the DSTAR
protocol, and he is the guy behind the DVdongle, DVAP
and the system called DPLUS that I had mentioned at our meeting.
The second speaker Des Smith KK7DS he is the one behind the Digital data
system called DRATS, and he describes how its used in the
American emergency network system called EmComm.
The third speaker is David Lake G4ULF is the first to set up an non Icom
repeater, In the UK.
I hope this video fills in the gaps I missed in my little presentation.
