The CW spotting switch is NOT in the middle of the
"mode" (actually called "emission" on the 32S-3)
switch, it is in the middle of the CW Calibrate
(actually labeled CW CAL) control.  This is the small
knob in the middle on the left hand side of the panel.
 The "emission" switch is on the lower right hand side
of the panel next to the meter switch.
