[Collins] Diodes in a 651S-1

Seemed like when I was in Cedar Rapids, the 1N645 was the universal
logic diode. I used them by the thousand (and found one or two marked
with reversed polarity to upset my circuits). But being a higher current
diode than the 1N458 I suppose they would have coupled too much RF when
reverse biased.
I go along with the 1N4007 as an HF PIN diode. From all I've heard it
works well and is not nearly as expensive as a real PIN diode designed
for RF switching. It will be a little harder to fit in the space of the
1N458, but not much if the 1N458 has the Collins lead stress removing
loops at its ends.
