I agree, Bob. I had a number of excellent exchanges with him on
different matters, particularly when I was researching the Comet. He
gave me the name of the fellow who had one of the only examples to
ever be completed (IIRC, only 2 were completed) but I've forgotten who
it was. I've got one of the 6 incomplete chassis that will some day at
least be built up to look complete. Somewhere I saved all the email
exchanges. Also saved Ed's original web site that was on QTH in case
it ever got deleted after his passing.

He told me a story about one rig which may be the Climaster 250, said
only a handful were built and he had no idea where they all ended up,
but one apparently went to South America and was being used by a taxi
cab company last he knew.

Frank, let me add my 'thank you' to the chorus. Your information and
history is most interesting to those of us who were either too young
or not involved back then. Ed sure came up with some great stuff. It's
always enjoyable to hear from someone who has first hand experience.
