Don't recall ever seeing that ad. I have all the CQ, QST, 73, and a
number of the localized VHF publications from that era. I bet it was in a
picture with the SS-1T transmitter sitting next to it. Note to readers;
you'll have to go to the amfone.net forum to get the connection.
