I have no documented mods for the Venus from Clegg that were issued.
That's not to say they didn't do a tweak or two along the way during
production. Also, there were several dedicated monthly VHF publications
that were around during the time of the Venus and there might have been
some mods in them. Also, there were several large VHF/UHF clubs around
that issued monthly newsletters and occasionally mods for equipment would
appear in them. K2OWR is still searching around for some documents he
wrote on the Apollo conversion to a pair of 4X-250's. Besides some
component changes to the Apollo, a new higher voltage plate supply was
also used.
I also have both the Interceptor and Interceptor B receivers. Both great
receivers. I have both the tube ALL Bander and the solid-state version
Clegg did in the 70's.
