I'm not aware of any mods, but if there are, and if my memory is 
right, they probably would be for the output network.   The early 
Zei, probably ones labeled "Climaster Zeus", seem to have had trouble 
loading into a 50 Ohm load, at least on 6M.  Later Zei didn't have 
this problem.

Can't help with the ballast tubes (and the above info probably wasn't 
all that useful either).  Sorry.
