I'm sorry - I wasn't very clear - I was refering to the commercial
gear (Micor, etc). I've been looking at the '707A, and you're
right, from all I've heard, it appears to be nearly ideal...
I've just gotta slip the cost of that and the new antenna under
the XYL's radar 8*) {some of those monobands are going for
less than the cost of a nice dinner for two 8*) }
