well here is the thing. I got the radio (Ken TM G707A) and ran it for a bit
UN modified. ran it in the ham shack going through an MFJ DiPlexer then had
a Cushcraft 14810A (10 ele) for 2 meters and a KLM 14 on 440. both were
pointed pretty much at Oat mountain. never heard ANY noise. then i modified
it giving it 300, 500, 800 (cell blocked) and 900 MHz recieve on top of the
108-190 and 400-500 MHz stock coverage. the next day i noticed it was
getting intermod from paging equipment on Oat. thats all i know about it.
why it does it i dont know. i didnt build the thing so how that radio truly
works inside is beond me.
