oh yeah , a Motorola Micor and a trimed fiberglass whip.heh heh heh .and
heck, you can get those radios really cheep. but its the channel elements
that kill you. i live in santa clarita and thats one of the only radios that
doesnt get hammered from stuff on oat mountain. but truthfuly i have a
Kenwood TM G707A 2/440 radio. it rarely gets bothered by noise and i have
done the MOD that expands the recieve giving me the 300, 800 (cell blocked)
and 900 mhz bands. if you dont MOD it, it will be even better
