Hi,
I just signed up for the hybrid list. I have the 599 twins and matching
speaker. The twins already have dual VFOs (oy?) but I also have a remote
VFO for (I think) the 520 I have used with some other radios. I was in
the right place at the right time twice to keep my twins out of the
landfill. Mine are not for sale until sometime after my *final*
transmission.
I have an interest and some hardware of more modern design including
SDR, panadapters, and digital controls. My favorite is still that set of
twins:) Dip, load, dip is no great chore:) No pesky menu system.
