Was told a decade ago 7040 was the rtty area. American qrp'ers claimed
it as the qrp freq while the Brits made 7030 the qrp freq due to this
very reason. Activity for digital for decades has been on the higher
frequencies around 7080 and above. One can surmise this latest activity
is due to lack of "elmering" or teaching hams about the Gentlemens
Agreements.
