Randy,

Why limit yourself to solid wire?  It sounds like you are looking for 
buss bar wire.  Typical mil spec stranded wire is silver plated.  Its 
readily available and teflon insulated.  At lest its more available than 
buss bar wire.

When I built  my mobile antenna loading coil, I used #10 stranded, 
teflon insulated, silver plated wire.  Got it real inexpensive on 
fleabay.  Gotta think outside the box sometimes.
