The purpose of a dummy load being to convert RF to heat, why would it matter that there were some minor losses to heat in the dummy load's wiring?

I'm looking for bare silver plated copper wire, like they use for coil
form inductors and such. I'm not having any luck on fleabay or
crimazon. All I can seem to find there is wire intended for arts and
crafts and jewelry. and I don't need a whole lot of it. Only a few
feet (if that) Is that good enough?

It's going to be the hookup wire for a 600 watt DC to light dummy
load. I don't want the hassle with enamel wire and having to clean the
enamel off on such short pieces. I figure around 16 or 18 ga will do.
I'd even settle for 12 if I had to but I think that's a bit of an
overkill. I thought I had some that I scrapped from an old broken
ceramic coil form, but to hell if I can find it.
