What Gary says. If you are sure the amp has been stored in a climate
controlled location chances are you will not have trouble.
But you might want to check on availability of the series in there. Many of
the HV caps are getting scarce (read non-stocked).
Those in my Ameritron AL-1200 are 450 V. surge to 550 or so that uses screw
attachment and I can't find them at any of the suppliers other than
Ameritron direct.

I never bother anymore. Make sure that the proper size fuse is in the amp
and turn it on. If it works, fine. If not replace all of the caps.
If they are dried out to where you have to reform them they most likely
won't last long. Better to replace them.
