Ed, et al,

Costco may indeed have had such a generator.

Coleman and others make a large number of products on a one time shot.

Then they deny ever having done so.

This has happened for literally decades.

The U.S. Military Exchange system has also been victim to blatant 
counterfeit items.  I have one here.

It is a one person camp/emergency Coleman fueled single burner stove.  
It doesn't even need to be pumped to get pressure.

A neat little item!

You never know exactly what is made by whom.
