[Boatanchors] Clock Knob and Long Shaft

Guys,
I know the HQ110 has the long clock shaft with the knob, not the HQ170/HQ180.

The HQ-170 with the clock did *not* have a shaft that came out the 
back.  It came that way from the factory.

If there is a "long" shaft, I would begin to think that someone added a bit.
