[Boatanchors] [Hammarlund] Clock Knob and Long Shaft

I believe you can find 1/4" diameter phenolic rods in some hobby stores. Cut the rod long enough to extend out the back panel about 3/4 to 1 inch. Determine the thread on the clock adjust mechanism then drill and tap that rod appropriately to fit the adjusting screw. Add a nut to the clock shaft to act as a lock nut. CAREFULLY reinstall the case and put a knob on the phenolic shaft. I have forgotten whether the clock mechanism requires a "push-in" or "pull-out" to engage the set mode.
