[Boatanchors] KRM Variable Transformer

Is it blowing the fuse at full load or no load?
If the former, does it blow it at half load?
If the latter, maybe it's a 400 CPS unit.
Try hooking a milliohm meter to the output (with the input disconnected 
from the line, of course) and run it slowly up.
