Rob,

I run the plastic radio now too.  There is an Amp Supply LK-500ZB right 
after it.

The display isn't paid a bit of attention to.

Then again, the folks I have connected with are on frequency well enough 
that *we* don't have any issues.

I'll admit that just about everyone of them is like you and I. We've 
been doing it so long that being on frequency isn't an issue, and no one 
is worried about being off +/- 2 or 3 Kc.
