[Boatanchors] Need coil or coil form

I need a ceramic coil form 2.5 inches diameter, preferably grooved for winding . Mounting holes desired. Upon the coil form, I plan to wind 13 turns of #14 bare wire over a length of 2 inches. This coil will be outdoors in a cover subject t the elements of Nature.


Maximum length of coil form that can be accomodated  is five inches or less physically.

If I cannot acquire a suitable coil form, I will consider a piece of Air Dux coil with 13 turns with an OD of 2.5 inches and length of winding 2 inches. This coil is going to replace the director coil in the center of a Mosley 3 element beam. The coil on one I have acquired is missing and I need to find one or build one. Your help locating the needed item will be greatly appreciated. 73, John, K5PGW
