Hi Bob,

Maybe a wild goode chase I would be focusing on the bandswitch. Or - did
you also move the mode switch? Those wafers and contacts are getting
pretty old. On my Ranger I had to disassemble far enough to mechanically
scrub (carefully) the contacts, wafers, fingers, etc. I removed a lot of
crap. The old squirt it with DeOxit type of thing failed except that it
helped clean the last of the crud out after I scrubbed it.
