[Boatanchors] Drake 2-B refurb?

I have a Drake 2-B that suffers from the tuning mechanism sticking
occasionally (only when I put the radio back in the case, it seems to me).

This is a nice radio but there are a few things that I'd like to do:
  - replace the electrolytics before they damage the wimpy power transformer
  - clean the dusty and slightly corroded copper top surface of the chassis
  - improve the operation of the nasty slide switches

I'm sure there are Drake-specific groups somewhere. Which is the most
active/best?
