Hi Nick,

I suppose the reason I didn't resort to installing a 2E26 in my Ranger
is because that control over on the left can dial it down under a watt
in it's stock configuration <evil grin>. I ran it as my QRP transmitter
until it finally puked from sheer old age. If I live long enough I'll go
through it and fix the ills.

Meanwhile I'm so tired of trying to keep my old crap working I am just
going to build a brand new transmitter or transmitters with all new
parts so I can get on the air between repair jobs on the old rigs. I'm
not so tired of them as to wanna scrap them.
