The RCA tx tube manual says the 2E26 class C radio telephone service
400 v. CCS and 500 v. maximum ICAS.

Tom Marcellino W3BYM wrote an article in ER on how to reduce Ranger
output.   The title of the article is "Adjustable Ranger Output : A
series of useful Ranger mods" it is in ER 139 p. 25 December 2000.

W4LQE wrote about a Ranger power reduction modification in ER 114 page 18.

There are a bunch of articles in ER about the Ranger over the years.
